I've finally got Black Line on physical copy and this record actually blew my mind. There's so much beauty to this album but also its so crushingly heavy and extreme in an audio sense, Respire don't hold back they just let everything go and beyond, amazing!!

This album is everything I want from an extreme metal release. Ferocious riffs/blasts with some of the best extreme vocals I've heard in ages contrasted against beautiful atmospheric passages and some exceptional crescendos. This has easily secured it's position in my Top 10 for the year list and may well yet secure top spot. Incredible, incredible album - cannot recommend it highly enough.

At its core, this reminds me of Dirge (France), but this ventures further in both the guttural register and the realm of clean vocals. Add a few interesting rhythmic patterns to spice things up, and voilà.
